This five day live aboard practical course is set at an advanced level and is designed for those who have prior experience on sailing yachts to Day Skipper Level. We also recommend that candidates have completed the Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased course prior to taking the practical course.
During the course your instructor will coach you on subjects such as safety and emergency procedures, pilotage, mooring, boat handling, anchoring, advanced navigation and many others.
Your class size will never exceed a ratio of 5 students to one instructor which will give you plenty of time to complete all of the tasks your instructor will set for you.
Up on successfully completing the course you will be awarded the RYA Coastal Skipper Sail Cruising Certificate which will be endorsed for tidal waters.

Included in the course fees are all meals onboard, snacks and soft drinks, fuel and moorage fees.  

This is a 5 day live aboard advanced skippering course for those who have knowledge of sailing and navigation and want to undertake coastal passages by day and night. Each trainee will skipper more challenging passages and learn more on passage planning, pilotage, navigation and safety and emergency situations. Up on successful completion you will receive the Coastal Skippers Sail Course completion Certificate that will be endorsed for tidal waters.
