This five-day live aboard practical course is set at an intermediate level and is designed for those who have some prior experience on sailing yachts. We also recommend that candidates have completed the Day Skipper Shorebased course prior to taking the practical course.
During the course your instructor will coach you on subjects such as pilotage, mooring, boat handling, anchoring, navigation and many others.
Your class size will never exceed a ratio of 5 students to one instructor which will give you plenty of time to complete all of the tasks your instructor will set for you.
Up on successfully completing the course you will be awarded the RYA Day Skipper Sail Cruising Certificate which will be endorsed for tidal waters.
Included in the course fees are all meals on board, snacks and soft drinks, fuel and moorage fees.
